The 1935–1941 Ford Truck Weld-In SuperSlide Adjustable Rear Leaf Spring Kit for Boxed Frames by Posies (Part #8040WS) provides an adjustable parallel rear suspension conversion for mid-to-late 1930s Ford chassis fitted with boxed frame rails.
The 8040WS Adjustable Kit utilizes mounting brackets that weld inboard of a boxed frame. The front mounting brackets feature 2 adjustable positions for the front spring eye, enabling builders to dial in their desired rear ride height to complement dropped beam axles or Independent Front Suspensions (IFS).

Vehicle Compatibility: Fits 1935, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, and 1940 Ford Passenger Cars, as well as 1935 through 1941 Ford 1/2-Ton Pickups.
2-Position Height Adjustment: Dual-position front spring eye mounts allow fine-tuning of the rear stance and ground clearance.
Inboard Boxed Frame Mounting: Brackets weld to the inside of boxed frame rails, tucking the spring pack inward for increased wheel and tire clearance.
Centered Wheel Alignment: Centers the rear wheels precisely within the rear fender openings for a clean, balanced stance.
SuperSlide Inter-Leaf Technology: Features Posies' moly-nylon inter-leaf buttons to prevent leaf-on-leaf friction, rust binding, and squeaks.
Driveline Requirement:Open driveline required. Designed exclusively for open-driveline rear end conversions (e.g., Ford 8", Ford 9", GM 10/12-bolt); will not work with stock torque tube driveshafts.

Frame Notch Requirement: "C" notching the rear frame rails is strongly recommended to maintain adequate axle travel at lower stance settings. Posies frame "C" notch kit #8006 is designed for this application.
Boxed Frame Requirement: Inboard brackets require boxed frame rail sections for proper structural welding and load distribution.
