The Vintique Inc. Stainless Steel Door Hinge Pin (Part # A-46335-SS) is a premium, factory-correct hardware upgrade designed for 1928–1931 Ford Model A restoration projects. Engineered to replace worn, rusted, or saggy original factory pins, this component stabilizes the door alignment on closed-car body styles, restoring smooth opening and closing geometry.
Engineered for Longevity
Polished Stainless Steel: Unlike original raw steel pins that prone to rust, lock up, and bleed corrosion down your painted cowl, these are machined from high-grade stainless steel. They feature a beautiful, highly polished exposed head for a clean, show-ready appearance.
Knurled Under-Head Locking: The upper shaft features factory-correct knurling directly beneath the head. This textured surface bites into the upper hinge leaf during installation, permanently anchoring the pin in place and preventing it from riding up or spinning when the door is swung open.
Vehicle Fitment Notes
This pin is engineered as a direct replacement for almost all classic Model A body configurations:
Compatible Models: Fits 1928–1931 Ford Model A Closed Cars (including Coupes, Tudors, and Fordors) as well as 1928–1931 Pickups.
Fitment Exceptions: Will not fit open-car configurations (Roadsters or Phaetons) or late 1931 Slant-Windshield models, which utilize separate hinge dimensions.
Oversize Installation Note: These pins feature a standard replacement diameter of approx. 0.245" to 0.25". If your factory original hinge blocks are severely wallowed out or oblong from decades of wear, you may need to run an oversized reamer through the hinge leaves to ensure a perfectly true, round bore before pressing the new pins into place.

Damages and Issues

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
