The Specialty Power Windows (SPW) 1926–1931 Ford Model A 4 Window Power Window Kit is a vehicle-specific mechanical conversion system engineered to electrify all four side windows on 1926–1931 Ford Model A sedans, phaetons, and four-door variants. Delivered as a partial mechanical kit, it provides four custom-engineered regulators, OEM-style drive motors, model-matched glass channels, and door-specific drill templates to modernize vintage doors while leaving the choice of switches, main wiring looms, and door conduits entirely up to the builder.

Four-Door Model A Geometry: Specifically designed to fit the narrow structural door cavities, shallow internal clearances, and wood/steel inner frameworks found across 1926–1931 Ford Model A four-door bodies.
Template-Guided 4-Hole Installation: Uses precision drill templates requiring only four (4) drilled holes per door alongside minor inner sheet-metal flange trimming, preserving door alignment and maintaining a clean, vintage-correct appearance.
Four OEM-Style High-Torque Motors: Driven by four modern 12V OEM-grade electric motors engineered to smoothly raise and lower heavy vintage laminated safety glass or replacement tempered panels without binding.
Dedicated Lower Glass Channels: Includes four replacement heavy-duty lower glass channels sized specifically for Model A glass thickness and length, ensuring even lift across all tracks.

Installation & System Notes
Drill Template Alignment: Position and tape the supplied drill templates against the inner door structures using original latch and regulator pivot landmarks as references before center-punching and drilling the four mounting holes on each door.
Flange Clearancing: Light trimming or radiusing of the inner door sheet-metal flange is required on each door to provide sufficient clearance for the motor gearbox to sit flat against the inner door structure.
Glass Channel Bedding: Clean the lower edge of all four glass panels thoroughly before bedding them into the supplied channels using professional auto glass setting tape or high-strength urethane adhesive, verifying level alignment before curing.
Electrical Circuit Provisioning: Because this partial kit excludes switches and harnesses, route a dedicated 30A fused 12V circuit with relays through flexible conduits across each door jamb to ensure full voltage delivery to all four motors.
