Description
The Allstar Performance 1/8" NPT to -3 AN 90-Degree Adapter is a specialized plumbing solution designed to transition between standard pipe threads and high-performance braided lines. Its right-angle design is particularly useful in tight spaces where a straight fitting would interfere with the frame, suspension, or other engine components.
Technical Specifications
Thread A (Male NPT): 1/8"-27 NPT. This is a tapered thread commonly found on brake calipers, engine blocks (for oil pressure senders), and transmission housings.
Thread B (Male AN): -3 AN (37° Flare). This is the standard size for braided stainless steel brake lines.
Angle: 90-degree bend, allowing for clean hose routing in cramped areas.
Material: Manufactured from steel for high-pressure durability and resistance to stripping, which is critical for safety-related systems like brakes.
Common Applications
Brake Systems: Often used to connect a braided flex line to a brake caliper that has a 1/8" NPT inlet.
Engine Oiling: Ideal for plumbing mechanical oil pressure gauges or turbocharger oil feed lines directly into the engine block.
Fluid Compatibility: Suitable for use with brake fluid, engine oil, transmission fluid, and fuel.
Installation Note
Since the NPT side is a tapered pipe thread, it requires a small amount of PTFE (Teflon) tape or thread sealant to ensure a leak-free seal. However, the -3 AN side is a mechanical flare seat and should always be installed dry—do not use sealant on the AN threads.

Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
