The Pete and Jakes 1932 Ford Complete Chassis is widely considered the industry standard for hot rod foundations. It balances classic Ford aesthetics with modern engineering, providing a "rolling" platform that is ready for a body and drivetrain. This chassis is designed to eliminate the guesswork of scratch-building, with all critical geometry pre-set for safety and performance.
Premium Foundation & Structure
Fully Boxed Rails: Features brand-new stamped steel rails that are fully boxed for maximum torsional rigidity and a smooth, show-quality appearance.
Tubular X-Member: A heavy-duty tubular center section provides superior strength compared to original factory crossmembers, making it capable of handling high-horsepower modern engines.
Installer-Friendly Design: All brackets are professionally welded in place, and every mounting hole features pre-welded nuts, significantly speeding up the final assembly process.
Front Suspension & Steering
4" Drop Axle: Choice of a classic I-Beam or a smooth Tube axle with a 4-inch drop for that perfect hot rod stance.
Control Links: Equipped with your choice of Pete and Jakes' signature 4-Bar system for a modern feel or Hairpins for a more traditional look.
Vega Cross Steering: A complete steering system featuring a new Vega-style box and all necessary linkages for precise, "no-bump-steer" handling.
Braking Power: Complete front disc brake system available in two common bolt patterns: 5" x 4.5" (Ford) or 5" x 4.75" (GM).
Drivetrain & Rear Suspension
Universal Mounting: Includes motor and transmission mounts tailored for your choice of Small Block Chevy or Ford powerplants.
9" Rear End: Comes standard with a Ford 9-inch housing, featuring new axles, 11" drum brakes, and a rebuilt 3.00 gear ratio for comfortable highway cruising.
Rear Linkage Options: Choose between a Ladder Bar setup for a traditional look or a Rear 4-Bar kit for maximum adjustability.
Advanced Dampening: Includes a rear coil-over kit equipped with Viper Alloy Shocks and a Rear Panhard Bar for lateral stability.
Complete Braking System
Dual Master Cylinder: Includes a master cylinder mount with a modern dual-reservoir MC for safety.
Brake Pedal: A frame-mounted brake pedal is included and pre-aligned with the master cylinder.

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:

Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Gift cards

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted

Payment processing fees (including PayPal, Amazon Pay, or other merchant fees) are non-refundable
It may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund
