The Heidts Universal Mustang II Kit with a 60-inch track width is the ideal solution for wider custom builds, classic trucks, and larger passenger car projects. This "hub-to-hub" independent front suspension (IFS) system provides a modern, high-performance foundation for vehicles where a direct-fit kit is not available.

Engineering and Construction
Custom Fabrication Ready: This weld-in system is engineered for builders who need a reliable, modern front end for custom chassis or modified vintage frames.
Tubular A-Frame Arms: Includes paintable tubular upper and lower control arms. These provide superior strength and a significantly more polished appearance than traditional stamped steel or stock Mustang II arms.
Modern Braking: Standardized with 11-inch five-lug rotors, GM calipers, brackets, pads, bearings, and seals to ensure modern safety and stopping power.
Enhanced Steering: Features a manual rack and pinion system for tight, responsive handling that eliminates the vagueness of old steering boxes.
Kit Includes:
Control Arms: Choice of Stock or Narrow tubular control arms to help you achieve the perfect wheel-to-fender alignment.
Spindles: Choice of Stock height or 2" Dropped spindles for those wanting a lower center of gravity and a custom stance.
Braking: 11" GM Disc Brakes (Premium Wilwood upgrades are available for high-performance applications).
Steering: Manual Rack and Pinion (Power steering rack and pinion is available as an upgrade).
Suspension Options: Standard Shocks and Springs (Upgrade options include Coil-over shocks or an Air Bag kit for full height adjustability).
All Hardware: Includes spindle nuts, washers, rubber spring cushions, and all essential mounting hardware for a complete installation.

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted

Payment processing fees (including PayPal, Amazon Pay, or other merchant fees) are non-refundable
