The Heidts 4-Link Rear Suspension Kit for the 1966–1967 Mercury Comet is a high-performance, bolt-on solution designed to modernize the classic "intermediate" Mercury chassis. By replacing original leaf springs with a sophisticated link-style system, this kit provides the traction and axle control necessary for high-horsepower builds and modern street performance.

Complete Bolt-On Design: Engineered to integrate with the Comet’s factory chassis, this kit requires no cutting or floor modifications, preserving the vehicle's structural integrity while providing a massive leap in performance.
Precision Tuning: The kit features adjustable 4-link mounts, allowing builders to fine-tune the suspension’s "instant center" and anti-squat. This is essential for optimizing traction during acceleration and ensuring stable handling during aggressive cornering.
Modern Dampening: Equipped with adjustable billet coil-over shocks, giving you full control over both ride height and stiffness.
Superior Axle Control: The 4-link geometry effectively eliminates the "wheel hop" and spring wrap-up common with leaf springs, providing a more planted and predictable feel under load.
Engineering and Aesthetics
Link Customization: The heavy-duty 4-bar links are available in plain for an understated look or polished for a show-quality finish.
Premium Shock Finishes: Customize your undercarriage with billet aluminum shocks available in Black, Plain, or Polished finishes.
Axle Integration: While the kit can be adapted to original housings (requiring bracket welding), an optional rear axle housing with pre-installed brackets is available for a true "plug-and-play" bolt-in experience.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
