Engineering and Construction
Complete Modernization: This is a comprehensive "hub-to-hub" system, providing a custom-engineered crossmember specifically designed to integrate with the iconic 1933-34 Ford frame.
Tubular A-Frame Arms: Equipped with paintable tubular upper and lower control arms. These offer superior structural integrity and a significantly cleaner, high-end look compared to stock stamped steel components.
Modern Braking: Standardized with 11-inch GM-style disc brakes, ensuring consistent, fade-resistant stopping power that far exceeds original mechanical or hydraulic drum brakes.
Precision Steering: Replaces the original steering box with a precise manual rack and pinion, eliminating the play and wandering common in vintage Fords.
Kit Includes:
Control Arms: Choice of Stock or Narrow tubular control arms to help you tuck your wheels and tires perfectly inside the fenders.
Spindles: Available in Stock height or 2-inch Dropped spindles for those seeking a lower, more aggressive "hot rod" rake.
Braking: Standard 11" GM Disc Brakes (Premium Wilwood high-performance upgrades are available).
Steering: Manual Rack and Pinion (Power steering racks are available as an upgrade).
Suspension Options: Standard Shocks and Springs (Optional upgrades include Coil-over shocks or an Air Bag kit for full height adjustability).
Complete Hardware: Includes spindle nuts, washers, rubber spring cushions, bearings, seals, and all necessary mounting hardware.
Installation & Technical Notes
Weld-In Fitment: This kit requires professional welding of the crossmember and spring towers to the frame rails.
Frame Compatibility: Designed to fit original Ford frames or accurate reproduction frames.
Axle Centerline: Proper installation depends on establishing the correct axle centerline to ensure the wheels are centered within the fender arches.
Engine Weights: Various spring rates are available to accommodate different engine configurations, from a classic Flathead V8 to a modern Small Block or LS swap.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
